Allied Steel Building 2nd Manufacturing Facility/Expansion
With the addition of it’s new facility, Allied is establishing itself as a leader in innovation and setting a new standard for the industry with its advanced steel fabrication capabilities.
Galaxy Acquisition Announcement
The campus will be located in McGregor’s Industrial Park and developed in collaboration with the McGregor Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and Heart of Texas Electric Cooperative (HOTEC).
Texas A&M Forest Service
The planned facility will provide the infrastructure necessary to meet the growing demands of wildfire response in Texas. It will also serve as a training hub, meeting space and staging area for incoming emergency responders and their equipment.

Hazard Mitigation Action Plan 2025
The Disaster Mitigation Act requires that hazard mitigation plans be reviewed and revised every five years to maintain eligibility for Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) grant funding. In 2019, McLennan County developed their previous Hazard Mitigation Action Plan (HMAP) to be specific to McLennan County and sixteen participating cities.
