The Financial Services office strives to ensure financial accountability while managing the City’s assets and supporting all departments within the City of McGregor and the MEDC.

The Financial Services office supervises the annual independent audit and preparation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).

Carolyn Baker serves as Finance Director with a background in accounting and municipal operations. Carolyn has served as Financial Analyst, Finance Director, CFO, Business Manager, and City Manager in public, private, and non-profit organizations in Texas and Oklahoma.

Carolyn is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association and has been on GFOA Award teams. Carolyn received her BS in Finance and Accounting from McNeese State University.
