The Financial Services office strives to ensure financial accountability while managing the City’s assets and supporting all departments within the City of McGregor and the MEDC.

The Financial Services office supervises the annual independent audit and preparation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).

Lee is proud to be part of the McGregor community and serve in the capacity of Finance Director. He was born and raised in Waco and studied at McLennan Community College before heading to Stephenville to obtain his BBA in Accounting and MBA from Tarleton State University. At the end of his time in school, he spent three years working in public accounting as an audit senior at Jaynes, Reitmeier, Boyd & Therrell, P.C. After four busy seasons in public accounting, and after studying for and obtaining his CPA and CMA licenses, he joined the City of McGregor team as the Assistant Director of Finance in April 2024. He is excited to continue to serve the city and the people who call it home, striving to bring servant leadership to every aspect of his role.
