McGregor Cemetery

The McGregor Cemetery is 28+ acres and is the final resting place for loved ones, some of the City’s first citizens, and veterans of foreign war. The cemetery is well maintained and fenced with road access and well-designed plots.

Gravesites are available for purchase at McGregor City Hall, and the funeral home of your choice make all other arrangements.

The McGregor Cemetery is regulated according to Ordinance No. 0-1-14. For Rules, Regulations and General Information about the Cemetery and Procedures, please read through the Ordinance.

FAQ’s

Ordinance No. 0-1-14 Sec. 15-9 Plants (Artificial and/or Live) a) Artificial and/or live flowers, wreaths or ornaments found to be in poor or neglected condition or a mowing obstruction shall be immediately removed from cemetery at the City’s discretion.

Ordinance No. 0-1-14 Sec. 15-11 Obstructions c) There shall be No permanent or temporary placement of toys, boxes, ornaments, statuary, memorabilia or any other tributes on a plot. The City is not responsible for the items and the City reserves the right to remove such items.
